Take Care of Antioch was born from a simple observation: our city has incredible potential, but too many public spaces had fallen into neglect. Jenifer Agpaoa, a longtime Antioch resident and community advocate, decided to stop waiting for someone else to fix the problem — she started organizing.Take Care of Antioch nació de una observación simple: nuestra ciudad tiene un potencial increíble, pero demasiados espacios públicos habían caído en el descuido. What began as informal weekend clean-ups quickly grew into something bigger. Neighbors invited friends. Local businesses offered donations. Schools reached out looking for service opportunities. Today, Take Care of Antioch is a confirmed 501(c)(3) nonprofit with an expanding network of volunteers, donors, and community partners all united by one belief: we can make Antioch better together.Lo que comenzó como limpiezas informales de fin de semana rápidamente creció en algo más grande. We are proud of how far we have come, but even more excited about where we are going. Every park cleaned, every court resurfaced, every bench repaired represents real people choosing to invest in their community.
